We sit in the dark on our little island. It feels like ten minutes, but when she asks what time it is I realize we've been out here for hours. I realize she might be cold, even if it's July it's still almost one o'clock in the morning. I should have asked earlier, I'm so bad at this boyfriend thing.
"Hey, are you cold?" I ask.
